  • Retiring

I gave my two week notice at work. I will now have time to excersise, eat better and try to slow down the progression of my M.S. Also my wife and I will be crusing Maui and the big island soon

Sorry to hear that, FP. I know that must have been a tough decision. Enjoy Hawaii! I've always wanted to go.

When you get back, build up your exercise routine slowly. Getting fit is an excellent step, but staying fit has to be the long-term goal. Keep it up!

Was it an active job? Are you happy or sad about leaving it?

      Enjoy your cruise!

Kinda gitting my mind around the thought of retirement. The job is 11 hours a day at a dead run, no breaks most days. High stress. I came back from a cruise in the carabeean on 8/6/12. I felt alot better when I could rest when tired. The first day back at work I felt like I had been hit by a train. I had been told that I would KNOW when it was time to retire. I now know it is time

Sounds like retirement will be welcome!

Besides cruising, what else will be taking up your leisure time? You don't sound like a "sit-around" kind of guy.

I am really looking forward to retirement from the workforce. I've got a long list of things I want to spend more time doing!

Have a great time in Hawaii!
