  • REVIEW: Two new cooling vests excel for petite, plus sizes

New Cooling Vests Reviewed! Cooling vest manufacturers are continually upping their game. First Line Technology has two new vests, the XPC with flexible sizing for plus sizes and larger chests, and the Standard Mesh, ideal for petite users. Both impressed me. I've been testing with Laura these during our Albuquerque heat wave and they've held up well. In 100 degree temps, they last a solid two hours, but the packs start to soften and liquefy as it nears three hours. Four? Not happening.

This company is the first one to say Fire Resistant that I have found. Excited about that.

All of their vests are on back order. I wonder how long until they're back in stock... I can't wait 6 weeks, you know?! Ahhh!!! We'll see how my test fits do.

I got to try this this vest on today thanks to our fearless leader. I have to say it fit well though the zipper in side pieces caused a bit of a rubbing issue for me. It used to be my first choice, now it is number two.

Props to G1D for modeling a few of these vests so folks can better see how they fit! Pics will be uploaded soon.
