  • NEW YORK CITY: Volunteers needed (paid)

Just got this from a colleague, Jen, and wanted to share. - Dave

    ---------------

So, the digest version is that I've started a patient co-op, Savvy Cooperative (savvy.coop) that is trying to make it easier for patients and loved ones to get involved in healthcare innovations. Still really new, but have been working a few projects that a looking for patient feedback.

One project is a smart injector study that is looking for people who use biologics. I've got arthritis, so was easily able to hook them up there, and with folks with diabetes. What they're lacking is people with MS. They'd need people in NYC who could meet them to learn how to use the syringe contraption, then play with it for a week (not actually using on self) and then give feedback. People will receive $100 for participation. Here's more info and where people could sign-up: https://goo.gl/forms/fzNP9vMJTRb7clpq2

So if you might know some folks in NYC with MS who would want to take part, that would be fantastic. We're looking for about 5 more patients. I appreciate any help so we can show the power of getting patients involved to grow this co-op into something magical!
