  • DVD Workouts

I used DVD workouts rather than going to the gym. Over the last couple of years I have tried out many workouts, trying to find the workouts that would help me deal with MS symptoms and improve my strength.

It has been trial and error as there are many great DVDs to pick from. Some are more effective than other.

The most effective workout for me has been T-Tapp. It is not a tap workout, and it is a little known workout.

T-tapp is designed to promote the neurokinetic flow. It helps to rewire the nerves and muscles so that they work better together. It helps to build balance and strengthen the muscles with simple looking exercises - that when done with proper form are very challenging and get harder with repeated use.

I used the the workout for two months then I got ill, went on vacation, and got off from doing them. When I did the workouts consistently my walking improved. My muscles were fully engaged when I walked. Where as before my quads or hamstrings wouldn't always work when I walked. So my walking length, distance, and speed improved. My balance and stability improved greatly. My mind cleared, less cog fog. If I did fog up, I did a few of the movements and it helped to clear my brain.

The workouts made such a big improvement in my overall strength that walking in the sand on the beach was much easier on our vacation.

I can't speak highly enough about these workouts. They can be found at T-Tapp.com

I once again am back at the workouts and I am amazed at the improvements in my walking. The other day I was able to walk more miles than before and at a brisk pace for me. I have mostly been able to walk independently with my nordic poles.

I have tried many different workouts from resistance bands, weights, walking, yoga, etc. They all are great workouts, but T-Tapp affects my body in a more beneficial way then the other workouts. It feels more healing, like I am actually making progress instead of being status qua.

Before T-Tapp I was too weak to do step aerobics. After doing it, I was able to do 60 mins. of Stepping. That is really good considering it involves muscles that I haven't been able to use in year. It has made other workouts easier to use and more effective.

It happens because it teaches your muscle to re-activate. Your brain, nerves, and muscles learn to work better together.

I just thought I would share because I am very impressed with the improvement in myself.

    about t-tapp

This sounded intriguing. On the strength of your recommendation, I just ordered the book, and we shall see. T-tapp is also supposed to take inches off, too...
