  • Shot hoops without aid for 30 minutes

I've played basketball since the transplant, but this was the first time I went 30 minutes without rest or without aid (other than grabbing onto the shoulders of my sister or Dad). No, I didn't jump. But I did almost win! The three of us were playing GOAT for likely the last time at my parent's house--they are moving from DC to Albuquerque soon--and it was a blast. I'll try to write a more detailed blog about it soon.

So Dave, is it safe to assume that you are an East Coast transplant to New Mexico? Well, I am happy to hear of your continued positive recovery from the SCT. I have PPMS and there is little in the world of medicine to treat that form. Maybe some day.

That is super news Dave. What a feeling that must have been for you...very satisfying and freeing.....I'm happy to hear this....."simple little things " to others, monumental to us!
