Automotive manufacturers that offer "mobility aid" rebates
 
Below is a link to the automobile manufacturers that offer rebates to those who want to install mobility aids in their car or truck. The list is from the National Mobility Dealers Association.

As many of you know, in the most recent issue of the magazine I co-own, Nissan Sport, I wrote a column about my MS and challenged Nissan to step up their commitment to help those who are mobility challenged. They currently do not offer a rebate program, but I'm working to change that with the help of corporate advocates who saw my column. Who knows, a fully equipped handicap-accessible van could be in the future if enough waves are made....
