  • Anyone on Rebif in Mass?

    Hello,
I just switched from Rebif to Gilenya acouple of months ago and I've got 1 1/2 boxes of refridgerated Rebif that is perfectly good. Nosense disposing of perfectly good, in date and sealed product.
Is there anyone Willing to come Central Mass. to pick it up? (NOCHARGE) I'm not a drug dealer, just one MSer trying to help another MSer out and save over $4,000.(LOL)

    Best Regards,
    Steve

Hey Steve, giving away medication (at least publicly) is a no-no, but many states have donation programs for unused meds. Here are details:

    http://www.ncsl.org/issues-research/...-recyclin.aspx

Here are the guidelines for Mass.

    What Rx: Unused medications.

Who can donate: Residents or consultant pharmacist in a health care facility.

    Who accepts: Health care facilities.

Donated to: Eligible residents of Massachusetts.

Restrictions: The donated medication should be sealed in unopened, individually packaged units and within the recommended period of shelf life. Excluded are schedule I or II controlled substances as defined in MA chapter ninety-four C.

Program Status: Signed by governor in 2004; Program currently Operational.
