  • Patient (David) from 2000 who had HSCT done

Stumbled on this today. His personal website was last updated in 2002, but this post by his sister surfaced today in the comments section of a 60 Minutes story. As one of the pioneers of this treatment, David's story is interesting...

An Autologous Stem Cell Transplant was done on my brother David; it stopped the progression of his Multiple Sclerosis in 2000. He would be dead today if he had not undergone the experimental stem cell transplant. Go to www.helpdave.com and read about it. Scripps in La Jolla California has a program that you need to learn about and do a story on also. You are welcome to speak with my brother. The lead Hematologist at The City Of Hope did the same procedure on his own wife with MS and she had an amazing recovery.

What an excellent and timely piece of news. Thanks Dave!
That web site is a gold mine of information. I noticed that Sandi Selvi posted a comment.

    Thanks,
