Default Just tested cooler/freezer for the car

For Nissan Sport magazine, I just tested a trick cooler/freezer that is often used for 4x4 weekend adventures. It plugs into your cigarette lighter and can get down to 0 degrees! A perfect place to store your cooling vest or, when set to fridge instead of freezer temps, it can keep your meds from getting too hot on your travels. Look for a report soon!

Looking forward to the review. I have it, and it is awesome. Of course I have no trunk space but my cooling vest/packs stay frozen.

Sam, I've got to say a huge thanks for turning me on to Engel coolers. It worked great for the magazine in our tests and it'll work great for us MSers.

We just did a weeklong vacation in our Infiniti G35x sedan (midsize) and the fridge, while it took up a third of the trunk, still allowed us to pack basically all of our gear on the sides. And it saved my meds and my wife's computer from 100-degree temps. But a hatchback would work even better....
