  • NEW BLOG: When optic neuritis strikes, it's time to get creative

Warning: When multiple sclerosis optic neuritis strikes, ahem, you never see it coming. (Groan, sorry.) The trick? Sometimes you need to get creative with your available resources, like employing a seeing-eye-wife.

    Nice Article.

I visit my optician often so he can keep an eye on things. My sight is compounded by having glaucoma, and being allergic to the available drugs to treat it. And no, my crap insurance is not interested in paying for the laser surgery!

GH, FWIW, many eye docs shy away from providing laser eye surgery to those with multiple sclerosis due to unexpected vision changes. But health insurers suck generally, so even though you might not be missing out, rant away.
