    Even when your body refuses to cooperate, you can still exercise one part of your being: that brain of yours. A newly released study found "that maintaining an intellectually active lifestyle can help preserve learning and memory, even among patients with a high degree of brain damage" among people with MS. The study appears in the new issue of Neurology.

    Definitely agree with this one. Even reading a book or surfing the web is better than watching tv for hours on end.

    Mind you, watching tv can be relaxing. It definitely helps me to unwind but writing poetry - even bad poetry - playing on-line scrabble, etc., keep the ole noggin busy.
