    Yup, it's a huge problem. I take the red pills. I know I don't drink enough water (I'm a Pepsi-holic) and probably don't get enough fiber either. My gastro doctor gave me some samples of MOVANTIK but I'm afraid to take because I'm a sissy. Sometimes taking 1 dulcolax will give me the runs for a good part of the next day.

      Gastroenterologist suggested stool softener (generic ok). It's usually polyethylene glycol. If it also has a laxative in it (e.g. dulcoLAX), it can push things too hard. Also, doing 50 squats per day (5 different kinds, 10 each) helps a lot. Coffee is good.
