Wonky MS legs preventing you from mountain biking? Then check out this crazy video. And hold on tight! There's no pedaling, just insanity going downhill. Note: Stacy is a pro; do not just try willy-nilly.

Who says you need working legs to go mountain biking? Canadian Stacy Kohut broke his back in 1992, but has never let his lack of lower body mobility hold him back.

In fact, if anything this born competitor has achieved even more in the years since his accident. In winter, he’s won multiple medals as a sit-skier, taking gold at the 1994 Lillehammer Paralympics and three silvers at the 1998 Nagano Games.

Meanwhile his summers have been spent wheelchair skateboarding and pushing the sport of Fourcross – the four-wheeled downhill mountain-bike style discipline shown here.

Fourcross is relatively unusual in that it’s one of the few sports in which able-bodied and disabled athletes can compete side-by-side.

This looks like flippin' FUN! I know a man who has done this out of Crested Butte's Adaptive Sports Center. He has a spinal cord injury and said that it is the wildest and most thrilling adventure. If I lived out in Colorado, boy would I be signing up...... Gotta see if the East Coast has any such program...
Be thankful. Dream Big. Never Give Up.

      Wowsers!

      This looks tremendous fun!

Downhilling on two wheels (for me) is far too risky (I like my face & limbs in their current configuration), but on four wheels it just looks....well....just right. And balanced.

I want to have a go!
