  • Swim Fins

I've embraced the water since my DX in 2008 and use the Total Immersion technique. I don't swim far or fast, but rather I try to be as efficient in my stroke as possible. Now that my left leg is weakening, could fins help compensate and bring a bit more ease?

If you use fins, what do you like (long or short) and why?

    Thanks

I did Total Immersion awhile ago, and it's great for efficiency. Fins are also great - I used medium ones, nothing special, just personal ones that didn't chafe. Particularly good if your kicking is weak. Some swimming pools will lend fins so you can have fun with them. Make you feel like a mermaid, and you can even do dolphin kick and feel graceful for laps and laps. Just take them off before doing any walking on the deck...
