  • 75 minutes nonstop walking/exercising, new PR

I would say it's all because my new forearm crutches are so light and comfy, but I think it's just that I continue to get stronger (even though it doesn't always feel that way, strange). 75 minutes is a new personal record by more than 10 minutes.

My balance is definitely better, too. I can walk short distances on my heels and toes, take a few steps toe-to-toe (like the drunk test), and I just did a set of lunges... all without using my SideStix. Needless to say, my legs are a bit tired. But a damn good tired!

Thanks guys. But before we set off celebratory fireworks, I hosed my legs for a couple days (as I figured I might). So it would probably be wise of me to NOT try and break my walking records if I have anything remotely productive to do in the following days. But I'll forget my own advice I'm sure in a week or two. I'm stubborn that way!
