Is it possible to have secondary progressive (SP) M.S and still have the occasional exacerbation? The reason that I ask is that my last neurologist and I felt that I am SPEECHLESS but for the last weak I have had bad dizziness whenever I am up and moving, it came on fast and strong like an exacerbation. I'm confused.

Paul, yes, people with secondary progressive MS can have exacerbations. Without an MRI, my neurologist needs to see a new symptom in order to consider it an exacerbation, otherwise it is hard to differentiate between an exacerbation or just worsening of symptoms.
