  • Heads up: Minor website wonkiness

Our main website, www.activemsers.org, is having some minor issues. I tried adding a security certificate (https) since it is a secure site and I thought I would make it official. So I made the upgrade that my host provider had recommended... and that fudged things up. Turns out the site-builder platform I use is so old, 21 years, that https can't work on it properly. So I had to switch back. The site is fine, but Google is all confused for the moment. Hope that will get fixed up on its own shortly.

    Just an FYI!

Boy, it's gotten worse. Safari warns users away. Google can't reliably find it. Fudge x 10.

Thanks for all your hard work with the site.

I know first hand the pain it is to get it right, I take care of 7 different sites myself.

When I had the problem like you are having, it turned out that the certificate was issued to the root domain, not the subdomain. Might check into a certificate for the entire subdomain of forums.activemsers.org

      It worked for me...
