  • WEBINAR: Learning to be Resilient in the World of MS (Jul 11)

Learning to be Resilient in the World of MS

Can Do MS and National MS Society
    Webinar and Telelearning Series
    Tuesday, July 11 - 8 pm ET/7 CT/6 MT/ 5 PT

Resilience is the ability to overcome, especially when faced with adversity such as MS, and it is influenced by many factors. A few of which include: current health status and how it affects your physical and emotional energy, attitude of gratitude, nutrition and spiritual practices like meditation. It is important to someone living with MS because every day one has no idea how, or if our bodies will betray us. The unknown is a way of life. When you have resilience and inner strength, you know you’ve “got this”, no matter the situation. Resilience is the measurement of whether you bend or break. This can be learned, so if you are not very resilient, you can change and this trait can be cultivated.

Please join Barbara B. Appelbaum, PCC, MBA, MAT and Dawn Ehde, PhD as they define resilience, look at what influences it, and provide a few simple strategies you can employ right now to help you cope day to day

Attendance is limited to the first 1,000 registrants that login to the webinar on July 11.

Upon registration, you will receive the weblink and call-in number.

    Date: Tuesday, July 11, 2017
    Time: 8:00 PM - 9:15 PM

You can RSVP for this event online. Please log in to continue.
