See below. From Gale....
Our next Palo Duro MS Support Group meeting will be on Monday, October 20th. The "theme" this month is "do it yourself". I have made in ceramics several small vases, pots, and southwest bears for you to paint with acrylics and, if you want, decorate with markers to either keep for yourself or give away as gifts. This gives all of you who never have the chance to do something fun, to try something different. The cost will be 25 to 50 cents per item (if you can afford it). All paint, brushes, newspapers, markers, etc. will be provided. Anyone can paint (whether you paint yourself, too, or not, who cares!) even if it makes a mess. If you don't want to paint, come anyway to enjoy some fellowship with friends. Who knows....there might be a snack, too.
November meeting is, as of now, still unplanned. The December meeting will be our holiday cheer meeting with an optional "white elephant" gift exchange. It can be something nice that you will never use, something from a distant relative that you think was from Goodwill, or a very unusual item that no one has ever seen before! Wrapping is whatever works for you...newspaper, gift wrap, paper towel, who cares!
It is the friendship that makes it a fun experience for all. The "white elephant" is optional. If you don't want to participate, you can just watch and laugh at us.
Hope to see you on the 20th!
