ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum will host two special events as part of its nine-day Rise and Try Week featuring family-friendly activities and programs coinciding with spring break for local schools beginning this weekend.
The Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum will host two special events as part of its nine-day Rise and Try Week featuring family-friendly activities and programs coinciding with spring break for local schools beginning this weekend.
On Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m. there will be a free Ballooning for All rally, weather permitting, for people of all abilities and special needs. This event will take place on the balloon museum’s expansive and scenic north grounds and will feature more than 12 hot air balloons.
Balloon inflations, crewing, and tethered rides will take place in the morning, and wheelchair-accessible gondolas will be on site.
