Join other patients with multiple sclerosis at UT Southwestern Medical Center for the MS Cognitive Group, in which participants can receive education about MS and the commonly experienced cognitive difficulties such as memory, attention, executive function, language, and visuospatial abilities. The group also teaches evidence-based strategies that have been proven to be effective in compensating for these difficulties.
Week 4: Quality of Life & Brain Health
Review the relationship between MS and physical exercise, mental stimulation, and social engagement
Discuss the role that fatigue and sleep can play in everyday life
