Thanks for the shout out I can't speak for others, but for me, UK sites focus on rest and taking it easy, and I've learned the hard way that there is a place for that. But there is little about how to keep moving and carry on doing the things that make life interesting. I found yours by searching for running and MS - you are well optimised! But you knew that already
UK sites full of info, so don't want to bash them, but seriously lacking in even letting people know that an active life can still be possible. Which is slightly bizarre, as the two people I know personally who have the most ability to access and understand expert knowledge (my brother, medical student, and a friend, junior doctor aiming to specialise in neurology) are totally delighted at my determination to run, run, run - why the difference between expert knowledge and laypersons' information? I know, we Brits are kind of weird
I'll be ordering your t-shirt for future runs that I'm participating in.....the message of staying active is unheard of here.

You took the words right out of my mouth Penguin. That was my impression when I went into that Shift MS site. Nothing about staying active. And although, I too don't want to bash the UK, the UK has excellent doctors among a lot of great advice, the only thing I disagree like Penguin is to take it easy. I have also enjoyed the comaraderie of the fellow Americans on this Active MSers site as well (Something I miss over here). Another good thing I have noticed about the UK is that they do encourage the use of DMD's which is something both countries do and I think that is so important in trying to combat MS. Thank you for your excellent site Dave. It is really inspirational.
Actually Stella, Shift.MS has a whole section of their site dedicated to exercise. It's pretty fun to explore but navigating can be a bit tricky and things can be tough to explore....
Hello, I am spending more time on here and finding it really useful and a 'warm' site to use promoting reallness but positiveness.
I will stay on here, I had a quick look at the shift site, it is a bit white for my eyes so bedding down today for a day reading the useful posts.
Thanks Pam
I am resting after two journeys and one last lifetime trip last month to Newquay, one this month to West Wales.
