Allergies: are they gone?

This is a side effect I could get used to! I used to have terrible allergies but I haven't had a sniffle since the SCT. I guess my new immune system doesn't have a clue what to hate yet. Docs don't know if they will come back next season, a few seasons from now, or not at all. I'm sure the manufacturers of Claritin-D, Zyrtec, and all those nasal steroids are panicking. Or maybe not....

Springtime in New Mexico is usually a disaster for my nose and eyes—I'm super allergic to juniper (thankfully not gin). But this year, nada. The stockpile of tissues is standing by almost looking lonely. Okay, that's kinda cool. We'll see if my allergies return next season, but for now I'm really enjoying this.

And the newspaper today is reporting the highest levels of Juniper in ABQ in more than a decade. So I'm not imagining things....

Spring again and no runny nose. My body still has no problem with juniper and boy does that feel good. My friends are miserable....
