Off to Houston for Month 13 MRI

My month 12 MRI officially came back with no new lesions. My month 13 MRI will be quick, with no contrast. Only a half hour or so.

So with the extra time, we'll be sampling some of Houston's fine cuisine and meeting up with one of the first SCT patients, a true MS pioneer. He got it done back around 2000 (he was not part of the HALT-MS trial). Should be a ton of fun.

In the last two years I have been an MRI champ, with let's see... one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight! Holy smokes. But none of the MRIs since my SCT, including this most recent one at month 13, have shown any new or enhancing lesions. All good news so far. And I hear the same is true with all other members of the study for the most part. My next visit to Houston will be in eleven months for my year 2 visit—a looong time considering how often I've been since August 2009.

Who did your treatment in Houston? I have not seen any info on a current trial going on there.
