Typing getting better, up to about 40 wpm

This may not seem like a big deal, but for a writer who "writes" by typing (not speaking), it has been a noticeable difference. My speed, at best 60-80 wpm pre MS, had dropped to 30 wpm pre transplant and then to about 20 wpm post transplant... and my accuracy was crappy. I slowly got back up to around 30 wpm, but in the last few months I've noticed a definite improvement.

Now 40 wpm is not great, but I don't have to hunt and peck these days and I'm missing fewer keystrokes. I'm no longer looking at Dragon Naturally Speaking (the best voice-to-text software on the market), which I had been keeping my eyes on for sales. We'll see if it continues to get better with more time.

Just retested my typing speed and it is now up to over 50 words a minute, which is considered "fast." Granted, a slow fast, but nonetheless fast. And a big jump from eking out 40 wpm a year ago. I'm also making fewer errors by bungling up multiple keys, which was a problem earlier....
