New forearm crutches

I bought a reasonable set of forearm crutches. I have been slowing down even with a cane recently. With the new sticks I was able to go for a 1+ mile walk with my wife. Best $115.00 I have spent latly.

Fat Paul, few folks realize how helpful forearm crutches can be (or they are too embarrassed to use them since it might make them look more disabled). Heck, I can barely get around my house with a cane, but I can go 2 miles using forearm crutches. Glad you got some more freedom! It sure is nice, isn't it?

I'm absolutely with you regarding forearm crutches. I'm in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and the sand shoe attachment on my sidestix is amazing. Getting on and off the beach is easier.
