The best transfer board for wheelchair users

If you need help transferring off your wheelchair onto your bed or chair, OTs recommend using a transfer board. My OT specifically recommended those made by UltraSlick. The top surface of the wooden board is super slick so you can easily and safely move between wheelchair and another surface. YouTube has demonstrations of how to use a transfer board properly.

I've been using this one for a few weeks and it makes transferring easier and safer. The hand holes are helpful for positioning and for tugging it out from under your butt. It will take a bit of trial and error to get it right, so persevere, it's worth it. Videos help!
