  • TESTING: NormaTec leg recovery system

A heads up to members. I'm currently testing the NormaTec Leg Pulse 2.0, originally designed for athletes and recovery. The claims are rather bold:
    • Improve your body's maneuverability and enhance your longevity.
    • Like a personal, on-call massage therapist
    • Warm up pre-workout
    • Recover quickly post training
    • Increase circulation
    • Reduce pain and soreness
But there it could help with MS, even for those with restricted mobility. I'll be giving it a thorough run through, and measure everything from its effect on spasticity to swelling to pain. Plus during Covid, having a "masseuse" on call is pretty priceless!

Ran into a hiccup while testing. I tried the boot on an even plane, but my PT sister recommended I elevate my legs. So we are still testing. I like the massage so far, but I haven't noticed a substantial benefit in walking or spasticity. I am also going to experiment at different times of day. I'm thorough!
