  • Q: What is the best scooter or wheelchair for cobblestones?

Got this the other day from a member.... -D

Have you had any experience with cobblestones and [scooters/wheelchairs]?

    Just wondering for European travel.

Cobblestones are the bane of existence for folks who roll. I haven't tested scooters on cobbles specifically, but I'm going to say anything remotely rocky is going to be a no go. My wheelchair once broke in Latvia because of darn cobblestones!

That said, the WHILL I hear does better than most with its special wheels, but it's pricey. That might be my next toy! Here's a pic of my bud Sylvia Longmire on terrain typically not well suited for scooters....

Cobblestones can be tough for mobility devices. I will recommend you go for an electric 4 wheel scooter because wheelchairs are lightweight and it will be a little bit hard to drive them on cobblestones but yes, if you are driving a 4-wheel scooter then it will easy for you to drive. I can also share the website link through which I bought a 4-wheel scooter.
