Apparently there are mattresses out there that can keep you cooler when you sleep.
"— Anti-sweat mattresses use new 3D fabrics that circulate air so you sleep cooler. Dormia and Hollandia International's versions are priced in the $1,500-$2,800 range for queen size."
Hollandia says the bedding works thusly: "Its open cell structure manages body heat while you sleep. The superb ventilation helps evaporate the heat more easily and keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer."

Dormia says its "Cool Sleep cover employs thermal regulation technology that adapts to your body to moderate temperature so you can sleep more soundly."

Of course, tossing off the blankets might be a bit cheaper, but if you've got the budget and/or sweat buckets, it might be worth investigating.
