Walking shoes

Does anyone have a recommendation for a certain brand of walking shoes?

My sister works at a running store that sells high-end shoes. She recommends the New Balance 846 (about $100) unless you have relatively flat feet (i.e., you excessively over pronate). In that case look at the Brooks Addiction Walker (similar price). Hope this helps!

The MS Society also had an article on shoes in the most recent issue of Momentum. They recommended Easy Spirit (www.easyspirit.com) for women and Florsheim for men (www.florsheim.com) as well as www.footsmart.com, www.sasshoes.com, and www.propetusa.com. I don't have any personal experience with any of these companies or products....
