Anything metal near an MRI is a no-no. In fact I always have to remove my belly button piercing. (OK, I don't have one of those, but I could get one in the future, although it would be unlikely.) And since I can't even have a piece of paper in my pocket when going through security, the FitBit is a no-go there as well. The one time I forgot, I was stopped and it had to go through the scanner. And I got frisked.
