I just got this from Phil, a fellow active MSer. Has good potential! I'll keep folks posted when he reports back.
I just ordered a walking stick from Rocky Mountain Amblers http://rockymountainamblers.com/index.php that folds to 9 inches and weighs 12.5 oz. Currently I use a Leki walking stick but it is quite long even when compressed. I will let you know how durable it is after I receive it.
