  • Inspire Me Adaptions

Sometimes I need a bit of inspiration, sometimes a kick in the pants I absolutely got a friendly push by listening to this BBC interview of Chris Downey, an architect who went blind and uses various adaptive devices to continue his career. This is no BS feel good story, you can tell by the way he describes "reading" an embossed architectural plan or how he designed a Veteran rehab center to be acoutistically appropriate for patients without sight. He doesn't have MS but he has an optimistic spirit and shows how to creatively perserve over a "handicaps". Just try to do nothing after you hear him! Enjoy
Chris Downey went blind almost overnight, one month later he was back being an architect

Will check it out thanks. Also if you're looking for a good read check out Michael J Fox's newest book. No time like the future. He has had a severe battle with Parkinsons, but he has a great outlook on life and his own difficulties. I found myself laughing out loud more than once.

        Build a "mental six-pack"!
Amazed at story of kiko Matthew, the fastest woman to row solo across ocean, after brain surgery! Kiko's mantra is to let it go... not waste energy on worry about things one can't control. Awesome podcast about her adventure https://www.armchair-explorer.com/ad...odcast-episode
