Technical issues persist; forum may need to shut down (sorry!)

We continue to have problems with the forum crashing. The fixes might be too expensive to justify maintaining it, but we're trying. Dunno. I got a quote to potentially fix it, but it's over $1K with monthly fees. I was hoping to keep it up and avoid broken links, but with posting winding down, maybe the forum has served its purpose. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks and months...
