My Humana Plan has decided to dropped Aubagio from their formulary list next year. Right now, I’m conducting some research on the other oral MS medicines. I want your opinion and words of wisdom about Gilenya and Tecfidera.

I also am ready to make a switch, and my doctor has mentioned Tecfidera as an option. However, I read an article that those in the 50’s age bracket run a higher risk with leukopenia issues. I fall into that age group, and currently my WBC is not as robust as it could be.
I have worries of PML... not to mention the other things that arise with continuous immune suppression.
Would gladly welcome input. Just how bad are the intestinal issues and flushing?
