Independence Day, my ass

You know I never liked going to any outdoor event and this was way before I was dxed with MS. I hated the crowds,the lines to get food and drink, the heat and having to go to those portable toilets. Ug!!! Nasty!!!

It didn't have to be the 4th of July either. Going to Times Square on New Year's Eve could be just as stressful and unpleasant.

Yeah!!! Nothing like a drunk pouring a full bottle of champagene over your head to get you into the party mood.

Take it light Dave. Get a hot dog and do what I do, go to a family or friend's house for a b-que and if I'm lucky and the weather cooperates, a dip in the pool.

Yea, my parents offered to take me and Steve to the beach to view the fireworks. Me + HOT temps = and add in a beach with sand so the ground under my feet is uneven and not firm.... a recipe for fail.
