alternative to Provigil

My co-pay for Provigil is going up again. Does anyone have any ideas for fatigue fighting alternatives?

Have you tried Amantadine? It's dirt cheap but doesn't work for everybody.

I would appreciate if anyone can list their experiences with Provigil. I am going to go to my MS doctor next week and might be going on this. Any advice out there on this drug? Thanks.

Thanks for the tip on Amantadine, I'll look into it. For Stella, as far as the Provigil goes, I've been using it for about 8 years with no problems. It seems to help with the fatigue, but is no magic bullet. I've heard it will be available in generic form in a year or so, but for now, my copay has doubled.

Provigil has a newer closely related cousin, Nuvigil. Nuvigil, even though it is the newer drug, is slightly cheaper, so it may have a lower copay.
